Overview
This document describes test arrangements and test conditions for verifying the efficiency of water treatment apparatus intended to protect components of a drinking water installation against corrosion. These components include: fittings, containers, pipes, and pipe connections. Part 1 of this document contains a general description of the factors influencing corrosion and the test procedure. This document has been prepared by DIN-DVGW Joint Working Committee NA 119-07-09 AA "Werkstoffe im Kontakt mit Trinkwasser" ("Materials in contact with drinking water") at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
