Overview

This standard specifies requirements for copper hammers. The DIN standard specifies, in addition to the dimensions for hammer head, eye and handle length for various mass classes of copper hammers and the standard designation, the requirements for the material of the hammer head and handle as well as the marking of these striking tools. The minimum values for pull-off forces have been incorporated for the first time. This German standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-12 AA "Schlagwerkzeuge" ("Impact tools") at the FWS.
