This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-14 AA "Chromatographische Analyse" ("Chromatographic analysis") at Technical Section "Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM, "Standardization of Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products) at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies a method for determining the mass fractions in mg/kg of non-aromatics up to 1 500 mg/kg, toluene up to 300 mg/kg, and C8 aromatics up to 300 mg/kg. Testing in accordance with this document provides information on the degree of purity or indications with regard to the composition of benzene.
