DIN 51502-8:2026-03

This document specifies the structure and content of a lubricant application table (SET) for documentation specific to the lubrication point in accordance with the relevant standards. Part 1 of this series of standards (DIN 51502-1) defines the classification and basic structure of the abbreviated designation for lubricants and related materials. The general international labeling of lubricants is specified in DIN ISO 6743-99. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-51 AA "Anforderungen an Schmieröle und sonstige Öle" ("Requirements for lubricating oils and other oils") of Fachausschuss Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM) "(Technical Committee Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products (FAM)") of DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
