This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-51 AA "Anforderungen an Schmieröle und sonstige Öle" ("Requirements for lubricating oils and other oils") at the Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standardization Committee (FAM) of the Materials Testing Standards Committee) (NMP) at DIN. This standard applies to lubricating oils used in air compressors with oil-lubricated pressure chambers without injection cooling. These lubricating oils can also be used in vacuum pumps that operate against a higher pressure than atmospheric pressure.
