This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-61 AA "Prüfung von Schmierölen, sonstigen Ölen und Paraffinen" ("Testing of lubricating oils, other oils and Paraffin") at the Standardization Committee for Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products (FAM) of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN. This standard is based on ISO 2908 which was withdrawn in 2006. This document specifies a test procedure for oil in petroleum waxes having a congealing point of 30 °C or higher according to DIN ISO 2207 and containing not more than 15 % of oil.
