This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-34 AA "Anforderungen an Heizöle und Schifffahrtsbrennstoffe" ("Requirements for fuel oils and marine fuels") of the Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standardization Committee (FAM) at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document defines the requirements and test methods for fuel oil EL, which is particularly suited for oil firing installations according to DIN 4755 and oil appliances according to TRÖI.
