This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-52 AA "Prüfung von Schmierfetten" ("Testing of lubricating greases") at Technical Committee at Technical Committee "Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM)" ("Standardization of mineral oils and combustible materials") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies a method for the determination of the flow point of lubricants, preferably of NLGI classes 0 to 2 in accordance with DIN 51818 and provides the additional possibility to determine other characteristic values of viscoelastic properties.
