This document has been prepared by Joint Working Committee NA 062-03-32 GA "Bitumen; Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen für die Bindemittel" ("Bitumen; test methods and specifications of binders") of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) and of the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) at DIN. This document contains general information for the determination of viscosity of bituminous binders as a physical quantity and the viscosity-temperature behaviour in the temperature range in which these binders behave like Newtonian fluid.
