This document defines five methods for the accelerated ageing of rubber: - methods A to D: storage at elevated temperatures; - method E: storage in oxygen at an elevated pressure. The test methods described in this document are not suitable for assessing the effects of light or ozone on the ageing of rubber. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-04-34 AA "Prüfung der physikalischen Eigenschaften von Kautschuk und Elastomeren" ("Test procedures for physical properties of rubber") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
