This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-08-27 AA "Visuelle und thermographische Prüfung" ("Visual and thermographic methods") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This standard specifies the performance of thermographic tests on electrical installations for the purpose of actual state analysis. These tests are used to support preventive maintenance, fire protection, security of supply and system availability. The test results indicate the condition of the systems at the time of measurement.
