This document is applicable to four-way flat pallets of shape C1 according to DIN EN 13382 with the dimensions 800 mm×1 200 mm×160 mm made from polyethylene, for use in connection with reusable transport and storing crates (meat crates) in accordance with DIN 55423-1 in the area of food hygiene. Pallets according to this standard comply with the relevant valid food-hygienic regulations; they are not intended for use in general (mixed) goods distribution. Pallets according to this standard are exchangeable (suitable for pooling). The document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 115-03-03 AA "Paletten" ("Pallets") at the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp).
