This standard specifies the dimensions of the pressure surfaces of tools for clinching in the closed and expanded state. It applies to clinching tools used for the assembly process of clinching valves and valve disks according to DIN EN 14848 on aerosol cans with openings according to DIN EN 14847 and DIN EN 15006. The document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 115-02-02 AA "Metallverpackungen aus Feinstblech und Aluminium" ("Metal packaging made of ultrathin sheets and aluminium" at DIN Standards Committee Packaging (NAVp).
