This part of DIN 55660 specifies a dynamic measurement method for the roll-off angle of a single drop of liquid on a solid surface. The advancing and receding angle of the drop rolling off can also be determined by this dynamic measurement. The roll-off angle is of importance in the evaluation of for example easy-to-clean or non-adhesive surfaces. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 002-00-07-15 AK "Kontaktwinkel/Benetzbarkeit" ("Contact angle/Wettability").
