This standard specifies general principles for the planning and execution of coating work for nuclear facilities, with the aim of ensuring proper processing of coating materials that have been tested in accordance with DIN 55991-1 and that meet the requirements of DIN 55991-1. The standard applies to coating work on mineral cementitious and metallic surfaces for the controlled area of nuclear facilities. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings") at DIN.
