Overview

This standard defines the coupling dimensions for tool holders of shape grinding discs. It applies to combinable shape grinding discs, which are used in the production in optical engineering for the cylindrical, shape and profile grinding of fringes of work pieces related to the optical axis. They can be used on grinding machines with the technically required cutting speeds. The purpose of this standard is to unify and thus to reduce the variety of shape grinding discs. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee is NA 027-01-11 AA "Fertigungsmittel der Optik" ("Production means in optical engineering") of NAFuO.
