This standard DIN 58762-2 serves the user of diamond pellets for the production of fine grinding tools, also called grinding pins, in order to select the suitable pellet for the tool to be produced on the basis of the specified dimensions. In addition, the pellets can also be used to dress the radii of polishing tools. This document has been prepared by the Working Committee NA 027-01-11 AA "Fertigungsmittel der Optik" ("Production in optical engineering") at DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO).
