This document has been prepared by the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV), Working Committee NA 067-00-08-AA "Verbindungselemente mit Sonderformen und aus Kunststoff" ("Fasteners with special elements and made of plastics"). This standard specifies the properties of square headed fish-bolts, with or without oval neck, designed for use with railway fishplates as specified in DIN EN 13674-1 and DIN EN 13674-4 and using fishplates according to DIN 5902.
