This document applies for closed conveyors for transport of fibre materials between machines and through machines. The purpose of the standard is to reduce the diversity of conveyors and to unify the ordering of conveyors of the textile industry. Along with the comparability of the various offers of manufacturers, this also serves in particular for exchangeability of conveyors. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 106-02-10 AA "Spulerei, Spinnereimaschinen und Nonwoven; SpA zu ISO/TC 72/SC 1 und ISO/TC 72/SC 3" ("Spinning and winding machinery and nonwoven; Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 72/SC 1 and ISO/TC 72/SC 3") at DIN.
