The trapezoidal screw threads specified in this standard apply for bottles and cans according to DIN 55405, mainly made of plastics. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN 6063-2:2004-02: a) Figure 1 has been amended and the reference to Table 1 has been corrected therewith; b) clause "Normative references" has been updated; c) has been editorially revised. The document has been revised by Working Committee NA 115-02-09 AA "Behältnisse aus Kunststoff" ("Plastic packages") of the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp).
