Overview

This standard specifies requirements for hexagon fits bolts with long thread with a thread diameter d from 8 mm to 52 mm, of product grade A for a thread diameter d ≤ 10 mm and of product grade B for a thread diameter d ≥ 12 mm. This standard applies for hexagon fits bolts with a thread diameter d > 39 mm only with regard to dimensions and tolerances. The other properties shall be agreed upon in a suitable manner. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 067-00-02 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Außengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric external threads") at DIN Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV).
