Overview
This document defines general terms and symbols for the use of geometric product specifications (GPS) for rolling bearings. This document specifies requirements and recommendations for converting ISO-GPS into numbers and tables. This document contains rules for the representation of symbols, tolerance values, size limits, limit deviations, and limit values for rolling bearings, derived from ISO GPS specifications, for example according to DIN EN ISO 1101 [7] and DIN EN ISO 14405-1 [12], including information in text documents and on technical drawings. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 118-01-01 AA "Begriffe, Bezeichnungen, Hauptabmessungen und geometrische Produktspezifikationen (GPS" ("Terms and definitions, designations, main dimensions and geometrical product specifications (GPS)" at DIN Standards Committee Rolling Bearings and Plain Bearings (NAWGL) and is a partial adoption of ISO 22872.
