Overview
This standard has been prepared by NA 002-00-14 AA "Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen für Luft- und Raumfahrt" ("Coatings and coating materials for aerospace") of the Coatings and Coating Materials Standards Committee (NAB), in collaboration with NA 131-02-04 AA "Oberflächenschutz" ("Surface protection") of the Aerospace Standards Committee (NL). This standard specifies general instructions as well as test and cleaning fluids and, as appropriate, the required test equipment for the resistance testing of paints and varnishes utilized in aircraft. The test methods and test media specified in Table 2 shall be used, if reference is made to them in the Technical Specifications, material specifications or orders.
