This standard applies to bolts for testing locking torques according to DIN 65349 for self-locking and bolt-locking nuts and similar connecting parts with metric ISO threads according to LN 9163-1, LN 9163-2 and LN 9163-6. Bolts according to this standard are to be used for qualification and acceptance testing of the aforementioned parts if reference is made to this standard in standards or other documents. The test bolts are applicable by the manufacturer of the nuts or threaded parts and by the user for testing the locking torques.
