This standard specifies the characteristics of sleeves, wall thickness 0,5 mm, for fasteners with reduced countersunk head used together with screws and bolts to replace oversize shank fasteners for aerospace applications. This document is used for reducing bearing and contact pressure on composite materials with sleeves. This standard has been prepared by experts at Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente (Spiegelausschuss zu ISO/TC 20/SC 4" ("Aerospace fasteners (mirror committee to ISO/TC 20/SC 4)") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
