Overview

This standard applies to the method for determining distribution curves (distribution sum or distribution density curves according to DIN ISO 9276-1) of dispersed solids in the range of particle sizes from about 2 µm to about 20 µm with centrifugal counterflow classifier. These devices can also be used to produce fractions of certain size classes. This standard differs from DIN 66120:1983-04 as follows: a) normative references have been updated; b) the standard has been editorially revised. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-11-42 AA "Partikelmesstechnik (SpA zu ISO/TC 24/SC 4") ("Particle measurement (Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 24/SC 4)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
