This standard applies to formula symbols and units of size which occur frequently in particle size analysis. The aim is to unify the use of formula symbols in standards and other literature. Revision 2009 establishes conformity to DIN ISO 9276-1, DIN ISO 9276-2, DIN ISO 9276-4 and DIN ISO 13321. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-11-45 AA "Partikelmesstechnik (Sp ISO/TC 24/SC 4") ("Particle measurement (Mirror Committee to ISO/TC 24/SC 4)") at DIN.
