This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 104-01-02 AA "Werksgefertigte Metalltanks" ("Shop-fabricated metal tanks") at DIN Standards Committee Tank Installations (NATank). This standard applies to manhole shafts and manhole shaft collars for underground tanks. The standard differs from DIN 6626:1989-09 and DIN 6627:1989-09 as follows: a) standards combined under the main standard number DIN 6626; b) designs adapted to the state of the art, three-part manhole shaft form added; c) designation deleted; d) Normative references updated.
