Overview

The document specifies the marking of escape routes, hazardous areas and other safety-related installations by photoluminescent products. Individual marking can be integrated in a safety lighting system. DIN 67510-3 specifies rules for the fitting-out of a low location safety lighting system, which allows, through its characteristics, a continuous "guiding and steering" of persons in danger from their location to a safe area. The Committee responsible for this document is Working Committee NA 058-00-19 AA "Leuchtfarben" ("Luminescent pigments") at DIN.
