This standard applies to signal lights in accordance with DIN EN 12368 on road traffic signal systems (SVA) and roadside signal lights for light signals at level crossings. In addition to the optical and mechanical requirements, information is provided on the operating temperature range of the signal lights. This standard has been prepared by NA 058-00-09 GA "Gemeinschaftsausschuss FNL/FNF: Lichttechnische Eigenschaften von Signallichtern im Verkehr" ("Joint Working Committee FNL/FNF: Photometric properties of signal lights in traffic") at DIN Standards Committee Lightning Technology (FNL).
