Overview
This document is applicable to the initial determination and verification of the calibration factor of a single photon emission tomography with an integrated CT scanner (SPECT/CT) for activity measurement in the therapeutic application of the radionuclide Lu-177. This document specifies a procedure for calibrating the SPECT/CT for Lu-177 relative to a dose calibrator calibrated in accordance with DIN EN 61303. Alternative procedures with proven suitability may be used. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 080-00-03 AA "Nuklearmedizin" ("Nuclear medicine") at DIN Standards Committee Radiology (NAR).
