Overview

This standard applies to blockboard (ST) and laminboard (STAE) for general use. DIN EN 636 applies to veneer plywood for general use. In comparison to DIN 68705-2:2003-10 the definition of the middle ply has been adapted to the conditions for blockboard and laminboard, and requirements for the joint width between wooden staves and staves in the middle ply have been included. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 042-02-15 AA "Holzwerkstoffe - Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 112 und ISO/TC 89" ("Wood-based panels - Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 112 and ISO/TC 89") at DIN.
