Overview

This standard applies to large area shuttering panels of core plywood with or without surface treatment. Compared to DIN 68791:1979-03, European standards for the determination of dimensions, bending properties and moisture content have been taken into account. Definitions of core plywood according to DIN EN 313-2 have been adopted and terms and structure have been adapted to current design rules. The responsible DIN is Working Committee NA 042-02-15 AA "Holzwerkstoffe - Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 112 und ISO/TC 89" ("Wood-based panels - Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 112 and ISO/TC 89") at DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture.
