Overview

This document applies to round metal fused sight glass plates where the sight glass is fused into a steel ring. These can be used in flange mountings according to DIN 28120 or in flow sight glasses according to DIN 3237-1. The installation dimensions of the sight glass plates according to DIN 7079-1 correspond to the dimensions according to DIN 7080 and DIN 8902. Round, metal fused sight glass plates according to this standard also fit into round sight glasses with holders mountings according to DIN 28121. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 012-00-01 AA "Anlagenteile" ("Process equipment") of the Standards Committee Chemical Apparatus (FNCA) at DIN.
