Overview

This standard specifies requirements for hollow punches. The DIN standard specifies, in addition to the dimensions and masses for hollow punches with various hole diameters and the standard designation, the requirements for the material, design as well as the marking of these striking tools. Furthermore, a method for testing the performance is standardized which now specifies the use of pollutant-free test materials. This German standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-12 AA "Schlagwerkzeuge" ("Impact tools") at the FWS.
