This standard specifies requirements for carpenter's roofing hammers. In addition to the design and the dimensions for carpenter's roofing hammers, the DIN standard specifies details regarding the material and design of these impact tools, including the requirements for minimum pull-off forces for handles and hammer head. Furthermore, it specifies the standard designation and type of marking of these hand tools. This German standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-12 AA "Schlagwerkzeuge" ("Impact tools") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
