This standard contains the mating dimensions of the dipstick assembly for mineral oil road tankers and the associated flange gasket. The dipstick assembly is used to determine the filling level of a tank chamber. The dipstick assembly may also be used in other areas provided that it meets the requirements there (for example, chemical resistance and mechanical strength, etcetera). This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 104-02-07 AA "Ausrüstung für Transporttanks" ("Service equipment for transport tanks") at DIN Standards Committee Tank Installations (NATank).
