DIN 75078-1:2026-03

This document has been prepared by Working Group NA 176-06-07 AA "Kraftfahrzeuge zur Beförderung mobilitätsbehinderter Personen" ("Motor vehicles for transportation of persons with reduced mobility") at DIN Standards Committee Health Technologies (NAGesuTech). This part of the series of standards specifies requirements for motor vehicles used for the conveyance of seated persons with reduced mobility (PRM). This document shall be applied to motor vehicles that, depending on their equipment, are suitable for transporting persons with reduced mobility. This document does not apply to motor vehicles with more than nine seats, including the driver's seat. This part of the series of standards does not contain any requirements for the licensing and registration of motor vehicles or for the training of personnel. This part of the standard shall be applied in conjunction with DIN 75078-2.
