This document has been prepared by Working Group NA 176-06-07 AA "Kraftfahrzeuge zur Beförderung mobilitätsbehinderter Personen" ("Motor vehicles for transportation of persons with reduced mobility") at DIN Standards Committee Health Technologies (NAGesuTech). This part of the series of standards specifies requirements for motor vehicles used for the transport of persons with reduced mobility (PRM), for occupant restraint systems (ORS) and wheelchair restraint systems (WRS) for the transport of persons in wheelchairs, and for the wheelchairs themselves. This document is to be used in conjunction with DIN 75078-1 for restraint systems in motor vehicles for the transport of persons with reduced mobility. This document is intended in particular for: - body manufacturers of motor vehicles for the transport of persons with reduced mobility; - manufacturers of restraint systems; - manufacturers of wheelchairs; and - operators of motor vehicles for the transport of persons with reduced mobility, customers, and funders for the transportation service or the wheelchair.
