This standard specifies safety requirements and test methods for unicycles. A unicycle is a vehicle with a wheel, a fork and a saddle that is powered by the muscular strength of the person sitting on it, particularly with the help of pedals. This standard is not applicable to: a) high unicycles; b) special unicycles. This standard applies to unicycles with a maximum saddle height of more than 435 mm and less than 950 mm. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 112-06-05 AA "Einräder" ("Unicycles") at DIN.
