It does not apply to bicycle parking systems for parking transport and cargo bicycles (see DIN 79010), bicycles with trailers, children's bicycles (see DIN EN ISO 8098), recumbent bicycles and tandem bicycles as well as transport and presentation systems. Building code requirements are not the subject of this standard. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 112-06-06 AA "Fahrradparksysteme" ("Bicycle parking systems") at DIN Standards Committee Sports Equipment (NASport).
