This document has been prepared by Standards Committee Sports Equipment (NASport), Working Committee NA 112-07-07 AA "Spielplatzprüfung" ("Playground inspection"). This document specifies the requirements for the training and education of qualified playground inspectors. This document applies to the training of individuals who perform inspections following installation as well as annual major inspections of playgrounds and playground equipment in accordance with DIN EN 1176-7, based on the relevant parts of the DIN EN 1176 series of standards (except DIN EN 1176-10) and the safety and maintenance-related requirements in accordance with DIN 18034-1. This document does not apply to the training of individuals who perform routine visual inspections or operational inspections in accordance with DIN EN 1176-7.
