It is addressed to manufacturers and users of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes. It is intended to provide the user with a basic standard containing the general quality requirements and the necessary tests for unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes. The standard includes, in particular, aspects of quality. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
