This standard specifies the dimensions for hardmetal machine reamers with parallel shank and tips. The standard has been divided into Parts 1 and 2 and, in addition, the titles have been correspondingly adapted. Furthermore, the dimensions for l2 and l4 in Part 1 have been updated. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-01-03 AA "Senker, Aufbohrer und Reibahlen aus Schnellarbeitsstahl und Schneiden aus Hartmetall" ("Countersinks, core drills and reamers of high-speed steel and hard metal tips") at the Tools and Clamping devices Standards Committee (FWS) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V.
