DIN 82331:2015-10

On seagoing ships, commercially available pipes/pipelines, with flanges and corresponding flat gaskets for a safe use/ function, are generally not mounted for the ventilation systems. Flat gaskets for ventilation systems on ships are subject to different requirements than gaskets for general ventilation systems and also systems. DIN 82331 documents the gaskets (static seals) used in ventilation systems on seagoing vessels in connection with round flanges to DIN 82330. In tabular form, the nominal widths DN 100 to DN 1800 with associated (m) diameters, bolt circle, screw holes, etcetera were described. The material to be used complies with DIN 86076. This standard has been prepared by the DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-03 AA "Lüftungs-, Klima- und Kältetechnik" ("Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning").
