This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 132-01-02 AA. This standard contains requirements for profile gaskets made of elastomers on the basis of rubber which are glued into doors on ships according to DIN 83100-1 and DIN 83100-11, in small hatchways according to DIN 83404-1 and DIN 83404-11, in hatchways for emergency escape according to DIN 83414-1 and in weather tight flaps according to DIN 83408-1 in order to achieve water resistance.
