This standard provides information on the installation of lightweight ladders in accordance with DIN 83202-1 and 83202-5 to ensure safe use. This standard contains information on the positioning of the holders and the minimum distances of the rungs to the wall and floor based on installation examples. The ladders are preferably installed on ships and offshore installations. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 132-01-04 AA "Verkehrswege" ("Traffic routes") at DIN.
