DIN 83202-3 specifies the structural design of heavy ladders used on seagoing ships. The design details, dimensions and materials for these ladders are determined and assembly instructions are given. These ladders are used everywhere on ships where operationally induced ladders of light and medium-heavy construction, for example by loading work or cargo, can be damaged in such a way that safe use is no longer possible.
