This standard applies to footholds on bulwark, for example at observation points for anchoring and mooring systems or for stands for operating the Suez Canal searchlight. The footholds shall be provided if the height of the bulwark is at least 1 200 mm. In this standard the dimensions, semi-finished products and materials for these footholds are specified and installation examples are given.
