This document specifies restrictions on manufacturing processes and approval tests for welding necks in accordance with DIN 85387-2, DIN 86037-2, and VG 85356-2 made of CuNi10Fe1,6Mn or CuNi30Mn1FE, which are used in pipelines on ships and marine structures. It may also be applied to other standardized and non-standardized welding necks. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections") at DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT).
